Birthday at Home
We (or maybe I to be more accurate) may have "done the overdo" as my old boss Joe used to say with Julia's 2nd birthday. It wasn't supposed to be a big production but Julia may now think that birthdays last a week because of her mommy (who loves birthdays by the way). I am sure she felt pretty darn special (more so than usual) the week of her birthday. We had a kid party the weekend before her birthday, went out for dinner the night of her actual birthday, and then celebrated again at the cabin with family the weekend after. Whew!

At the library's July birthday party - our girl is a joiner! She volunteered to go up in front to be a butterfly for one of the songs. I was very proud (and was a big nerd and was the only parent there with a camera - this kind of stuff is just so cute!!!)
