Julia's First Two Weeks

At two weeks, Julia continues to be an excellent baby. She got a clean bill of health at the pediatrician's on Wednesday and we discovered she now weighs 7 lbs 3 ounces!!! Needless to say, she is eating very well. She also sleeps well - we are getting 2-3 hour stretches of sleep which is pretty good for having a newborn (she gets up to eat and then falls back to sleep). She sleeps in a little crib next to our bed...and the cats are doing pretty good at leaving her alone (although Sly is very intrigued with the froggy mobile). Hannah's motherly instincts are coming out and when Julia cries hard, Hannah will pace around her and try to get a good look at her to see if she is ok. We think the cats have realized Julia is not going anywhere and is part of our family now.
